CO2 Laser Resurfacing
CO2 laser resurfacing involves vaporizing selected top skin layers to allow the regeneration of epidermal cells and collagen.
Our cosmetic surgeons use the CO2 laser to control light beams to minimize scarring and other complications. Patients usually experience minor discomfort during the procedure and for a short time afterward.
Some common side effects include swelling and crusting during the first week. Using a concealer may camouflage pinkness of the new skin. Total recovery time may take up to 90 days before patients have skin that is smoother and tighter.
