Adam Aronson, MD
Dr. Adam Aronson is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs skin cancer surgeon. He will be working in both our Sherman Oaks and Westlake Village locations.
Dr. Aronson specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all skin malignancies, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma & melanoma and has particular interest in high risk malignancies and complex reconstruction. As a Los Angeles native, Dr. Aronson attended Harvard-Westlake high school before graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California, where he earned a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. He received his M.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Aronson subsequently completed a year of training in Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, before moving on to a dermatology residency at the University of Iowa. During his time at Iowa, he was active in research & publishing, and placed in the national Rising Derm Stars resident research competition.
Following his interest in dermatologic surgery, Dr. Aronson traveled to New Zealand to complete an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) accredited fellowship program in Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology, including aesthetic surgery. During this year, he won the ACMS Fellows-in-Training Clinicopathologic Case Competition.
Dr. Aronson is excited to be back home in Los Angeles and working for American Skin Institute. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, skiing, poetry, and making music (guitar and bass). He is also a licensed falconer.
