You will be asked to arrive around 60 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time to apply topical numbing (the perfect opportunity to read a book, work on some emails or catch up on our Instagram). Once you’ve finished numbing, you will be asked to sit or lie down depending on the area to be treated. The provider will then begin to use the dermaroller which will cause punctures to the skin using small needles to prick the skin. Once the skin begins to heal itself, you will begin to generate new collagen and skin tissue. Redness, flaking and peeling are expected over the next week.
