Renee Sheinin, MD

Board-certified dermatologist in Los Angeles

Dr. Renee Sheinin is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and attended medical school at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where she graduated with highest distinction and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

After completing her preliminary year in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, she moved to Detroit, Michigan, to complete her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital. During her time at Henry Ford, she published several journal articles and two book chapters and was awarded the Resident Research Award by the Michigan Dermatologic Society.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. These affiliations reflect her commitment to staying at the forefront of dermatologic research and treatment.

A Los Angeles native and graduate of Beverly Hills High School, Dr. Sheinin is excited to be back home and working for the American Skin Institute. She speaks several languages, including English, Russian, Spanish, and Italian. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, attending the latest workout classes, going to the theater or seeing a movie, and, of course, spending time with her family and friends.
