Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a procedure that has saved many patients from undergoing vein surgery. Spider veins or burst capillaries on the face are usually caused by genetics, sudden temperature changes, sunburn, smoking and alcohol. A mild sclerosing solution is injected into the varicose vein using a fine needle. The solution causes the vein walls to close up. Within a few weeks, the varicose veins disappear. Sclerotherapy for facial varicose veins is safe and yields excellent results.
