Normal temporary side effects:

• Temporary numbness or altered sensation in the treated area may occur.
• The treated area may become swollen shortly after the injections. This can last for a few weeks.
• The area may feel sore or tender to the touch after the procedure.
• You might feel small lumps or areas of hardness under the skin.

What to avoid:

• Vigorous exercise and activities that may exacerbate swelling for a few days.
• Hot baths, saunas, and sun exposure for a few days to avoid aggravating the swelling.

Aftercare:

• (If needed) Over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen can help manage discomfort, but consult your provider before taking any medication.
